In 1984 a group of fish exporters formed the Philippine Tropical Fish Exporters Association (PTFEA), to promote a sustainable & responsible marine ornamental fish industry. Throughout the years, the PTFEA steadily supported the tropical fish industry by helping the local fishing communities and cooperating with various like minded organizations and the Philippine government. PTFEA is the leading association of the marine ornamental fish industry in the Philippines and is recognized locally and internationally.

We hope to share with you our passion for preserving the marine environment through the promotion of a sustainable tropical fish industry while providing livelihood for our fisherfolks.
